Director Ridley Scott and Producer Brian Grazer Create the American Gangster On DVD

Sir Ridley Scott is an English film producer and director. American Gangster is one among the many successful American films directed by Scott.

Scott has been nominated for several Academy Awards for Gladiator, Black Hawk Down and Thelma & Louise.

Other directorial credits for the American Gangster DVD director include Someone to Watch Over Me, Black Rain, White Squall, G.I. Jane, Hannibal, Matchstick Men, Kingdom of Heaven and A Good Year. He is also director of several pending releases including Body of Lies, Nottingham and Blood Meridian.

The American Gangster DVD producer has aided in the creation of a host of box office smashes including Spike Lee’s The Inside Man and the family holiday hit How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Grazer also produced the critically acclaimed Apollo 13 and A Beautiful Mind with partner Ron Howard.

A Beautiful Mind earned Grazer an Academy Award win for Best Picture. He also won Emmy’s for Arrested Development, 24 and From the Earth to the Moon.

Grazer is set to produce films through 2009 including Most Likely to Succeed, the Inside Man sequel, Johnny Blaze, Ralph, Vivaldi, Nottingham, East of Eden, The Incredible Shrinking Man and The Serpent and the Eagle.
