Erin Brockovich marks the third reunion for JEFFREY KURLAND (Costume Designer) with Julia Roberts, for whom he previously designed costumes on My Best Friend's Wedding and Woody Allen's Everyone Says I Love You.
He has devoted much of his career to designing for the stylish movies of Woody Allen, with whom he also collaborated on Mighty Aphrodite, Bullets Over Broadway (for which he received an Academy Award* nomination), Manhattan Murder Mystery, Husbands and Wives, Shadows and Fog, Alice, Crimes and Misdemeanors, New York Stories, Another Woman, September, Radio Days (for which he received England's highest film honor, the BAFTA), Hannah and Her Sisters, The Purple Rose of Cairo and Broadway Danny Rose.
Most recently Kurland designed the costumes for: Jersey Films' Man on the Moon, directed by Milos Forman and starring Jim Carrey; Jersey Films' Living Out Loud, directed and written by Richard LaGravenese and starring Holly Hunter, Danny DeVito and Queen Latifah; and director Neil Jordan's In Dreams, starring Annette Bening, Aidan Quinn and Robert Downey, Jr.
Kurland's other motion picture credits include director Nora Ephron's This is My Life and Mixed Nuts; as well as Quick Change, Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise and Streets of Gold.
