Jersey Films' co-chairman, MICHAEL SHAMBERG (Producer), produced Reality Bites, Eight Seconds, Get Shorty, Sunset Park, Fierce Creatures, Matilda, Feeling Minnesota, Gattaca, Out of Sight, Living out Loud, as well as Jersey's recent production of Man on the Moon. Shamberg was also an executive producer on Jersey's multi-award winning film, Pulp Fiction.
He also produced A Fish Called Wanda and received a Best Picture Academy Award* nomination as producer of The Big Chill.
Following his graduation from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in English literature, Shamberg began his career as a reporter at Time Magazine. While working in television documentaries, he wrote the non-fiction book Guerilla Television and formed the video production company TVTV. Shamberg produced his first film, Heart Beat, in 1980.
