STACEY SHER (Producer)
is co-chairman of Jersey Films. She received an MFA from the Peter Stark Graduate Program at the USC School of Film and Television.
Sher began her career in the industry as director of development at Hill/Obst Productions in 1985 and was promoted to vice president of production in 1987. After serving as associate producer on Heartbreak Hotel and The Fisher King, Sher became senior vice president at Lynda Obst Productions in 1991.
In 1992, she joined Danny DeVito and Michael Shamberg's Jersey Films as executive vice-president, was promoted to president in 1993 and became a partner in 1996. She is the executive producer of Reality Bites and Pulp Fiction and produced Get Shorty, Matilda, Feeling Minnesota, Gattaca, Out of Sight, Living Out Loud and the recent Man on the Moon.
