Harry Newell plays John Darling in the fantasy action movie Peter Pan.

Harry Newell (John Darling), aged 12, was spotted by a casting director at school and invited to a "Peter Pan" workshop. Several weeks later he was asked to audition for the part of John Darling. During his time in Australia , Harry particularly enjoyed the technical aspects of filmmaking and the stunts, and when he wasn't on set, developed a taste for surfing Oz-style. He attended Stagecoach classes for two-and-a-half years prior to being involved in Peter Pan. Harry Newell plays the saxophone and is a keen swimmer and cricketer. He has a younger brother and lives with his family in London .
